I own my own business. Yep, at 27 I'd decided I'd had enough of the "corporate" world (I was, in my previous life, a Landscape Designer) and figured that I'd be my own best boss. Turns out being your own boss isn't all its cracked up to be. Sure, I make my own hours, and only set my alarm on Tuesday mornings for my weekly BNI meetings. But the flip side is that if something goes wrong the only person I can blame is... yep, you guessed it, ME! However, I DO love running my life the way I want. I work about 12 to 15 hours a day but I get to do it in my jammies 2 or 3 days a week and with my dog snuggled on my lap.
